Shamrocks are considered a token of good luck, and are one of the popular symbols of Saint Patrick's Day, a celebration commemorating the life and works of Saint Patrick, the famous missionary and Patron Saint of Ireland.
Embroider your own good luck charm by working the Shamrock embroidery pattern using a single color of variegated or overdyed embroidery thread stitched in basic embroidery stitches. The pattern can be enlarged or reduce to fit any size of square frame. Accent the finished embroidery design using glass seed beads.

OMG – I love this. Going out for the thread today!
This is so pretty. But I keep thinking it has tiny bits of pink in it. Maybe I’ll have to find a variegated floss that’s mostly shades of green with bits of pink. Very Spring-like then. But if you keep posting fantastic patterns like this, I’ll never get to the Redwork alphabet. Shame on you. LOL
There’s no pink at all – could be a photographic illusion. Or maybe the sparkly beads?
