Two Versions of the Feather Stitch

From , Former About.com GuideFebruary 27, 2012

This week I've posted two new embroidery stitch diagrams for you to try.

Learn to work two versions of the Feather Stitch - the basic and straight versions.

Both versions of the stitch are made from interlocking loops of thread and are easy to work. The stitches can be used for borders and outlines, to attach appliqués, or as a surface stitch for crazy quilting.

Additional tutorials featuring variations of this versatile stitch will be posted soon. Sign up for the Free Weekly Newsletter so you'll never miss a new addition!
