Redwork Progress

I've been taking the Laurel Wreath with Bird project along with me this week as I travel.

After a few cups of tea and a few hours of stitching, the project is coming along nicely. I've used basic surface embroidery stitches in this design - mostly stem stitch, along with a French knot for the bird's eye and I'll probably accent the bird's body with a bit of running stitch.

I should have this new, free pattern ready to post sometime next week.
