General Directions for Working the Pattern:
Fold the fabric into quarters and mark the center point of the base fabric. Center the pattern under the fabric and *trace the embroidery design onto the fabric using the water-soluble fabric marking pen. If you have difficulty seeing the pattern through the fabric, use a light box, or trace the design by holding the fabric and pattern up to a window.

Using the selected threads, embroider the design using two or three strands of floss in the needle, depending on the desired thickness of the embroidered lines.

Surface embroidery stitches that are recommended for use in the design include stem stitch for outlines, back stitch or running stitch for thinner lines, lazy daisy stitch for working the flowers French knots.
