Work this 3-piece set of free hand embroidery patterns for Valentine's Day. Each design features a different paisley motif that can be worked in traditional redwork embroidery, or stitch it in your favorite color combination using basic surface embroidery stitches.
The pattern for the Paisley Valentines project set is given here as .jpg files. This file can be easily enlarged or reduced to the desired size using your computer's photo editing software. I used the pattern full size to create my version of this project, and each heart measures 4 inches wide. You can choose to make the design any size you wish.
The designs can be finished as ornaments or framed and make the perfect Valentine for a special friend.
Materials Needed for the Set of Three Hearts:
• 14" x 16" piece of natural-colored 32-count evenweave fabric in linen or cotton
• Size 10 Embroidery Needles
• Embroidery Hoop
• Embroidery Scissors
• Water-soluble fabric marking pen
You will also need a skein of your favorite shade of red embroidery floss*, or use a combination of colors
*I have used DMC Embroidery Floss in color #115, variegated Garnet.
