These fun little Tag Ornaments are shaped like rectangular gift tags and can be stitched using a variety of surface embroidery stitches. You can finish them as ornaments for the tree, or as gift tags - even as holiday name tags. The three designs can be worked on embroidery fabric or on card stock (refer to the stitching on paper tutorial).
The actual size of the ornaments is approximately 3x5 inches. However, the pattern can be easily changed to any size. Simply double-click the images (provided as a standard .jpg images) and save them to your desktop. You can then re-size the images using any photo editing software you have on your computer or laptop.
Transfer the patterns to the fabric or paper, then stitch the designs using embroidery floss or add a bit of glitz by using metallic or specialty embroidery threads. The stitch key for working the motifs can be found on the next page.
